Our Project

MHIGE (Humanitarian Mission Between Universities) is an association according to the French law 1901. It has been founded in 1987 in Bordeaux, France by a former INSEEC student. He had that idea the year following the Tchernobyl accident in order to help the population touched by it. The aim of the association is to help the population in need by bringing medical equipment, paramedical and school equipment to hospitals, orphenages, school and universities. The destination changed but not the purpose: giving support to East Europe's people. The convoy has been wandering roads for 28 years to go and support population in Ukraine, in Poland, in Bielorussia, in Romania and in Kosovo.

There are seveals office of MHIGE accross France. We come from different part of France, with different backgrounds but we gathered around MHIGE because we share the same value: The Mutual Aid Beyond Borders. Our goal is to collect a maximum of medical equipment, schools' supplies, essential products but overall to give hope to people who are living in dread conditions. Helping them to improve their living conditions is our main mission. Bringing to them an oxygen bubble in a country with difficults conditions is our fight. Our goal is to help them in a environment where poverty and tension keep being present. We want to try to erase those pain.

We thank everyone who took part into the project, everyone who enable this project to arise.

See you soon for new adventure with MHIGE
